Ultimate-performance through-set undercut anchor for dynamic
Key Features
Consist: anchor rod, undercut lock, spacer sleeve, washer, nut
Material: alloy steel grade 5.8, 6.8, 8.8, 10.9, 12.9; stainless steel A4-80
Anti-corrosive treatment:
galvanized steel≥5μm, applicable in indoor and outdoor surroundings
hot dipped galvanized steel≥45μm, applicable in corrosion environment
Surface treatment can be required for long-lasting complex environment with other process of anti-corrosion treatment
Description
Higher load-bearing capacity than conventional mechanical anchors and chemical anchors
The key lock self-cut in the concrete base material under the action of twisting torque moment
Suitable for various base materials angle mounting, including horizontal, vertical and overhead installation
Low expansion stress allows for small spacing and edge distance and different embeddment depth
Professional, scientific, strict product design meets the requirements of effective and safe anti-pull and shearing strength
Characteristics
Self-undercutting facilitates fast and reliable installation without the need for a separate undercutting tool or additional operations
Combines the advantages of a post-installed mechanical anchor, i.e. flexibility and immediate loading, with the performance of a cast-in-place headed stud
Close spacing and small edge distance thanks to low expansion forces
The resulting keying effect provides a secure hold even in cracked concrete under dynamic loading
Safety-relevant, heavy-duty fastenings for all dynamic loading (shock, seismic and fatigue) in cracked or uncracked concrete, including applications in nuclear power plants
Fastenings to support heavy pipes, safety barriers, industrial machines, crane rails, dorm structures, crash barriers, roof fixings, elevator tracks, bridge retrofitting etc.

Installation Guide
Pre-Set type
Drill the hole to proper depth and diameter per specifications using ordinary impact drill.
Blow the hole clean using manual/electric air pump.
Before installation, firstly finger-tighten the anchor with its all components to ensure the anchor is tightened. Then place the anchor into the drilled hole and use a hammer and setting tool to drive the anchor until the washer and nut are tight against the surface of the base material.
Tighten the nut using torque wrench.
Remove the nut and install the plate fixture, then re-tighten the nut and washer over the fixture using torque wrench to required installation torque.
Through-Set type
Drill the hole to proper depth and diameter per specifications using ordinary impact drill.
Blow the hole clean using manual/electric air pump.
Before installation, firstly finger-tighten the anchor with its all components to ensure the anchor is tightened. The bottom of the threaded rod should be flush with the bottom of the cone.
Then place the anchor through the fixture and use a hammer and setting tool to drive the anchor into the drilled hole until the washer and nut are tight against the surface of the fixture.
Tighten the nut using torque wrench and tighten the nut to the required installation torque. Then the installation is finished.
● The values are suitable for: correct installation, no influence of spacing and edge distance, minimum base material thickness.
● All the data applies in C20/25 concrete base material. If the base material grade changes, the corresponding concrete influence coefficient will needs to be increased.
● The * part in the table is steel failure control.
● Design load: including material partial factor, but not including overall partial factor.
● Recommended load: including not only material partial factor, but also including overall partial factor 1.4.
● If your anchor with special material and specification is not listed in this table, please contact our engineer for advice.
● All basic anchor data in this table is given according to 2013 ETAG001 and Appendix. The partial factor in the load application must be in accordance with national regulation.
