What should we use for installing elevators, injection-type reinforced adhesive or chemical anchors?

In the past few days, some customers have come to consult us, saying that the old houses in the community need to install elevators. What should they choose, injection-type reinforced adhesive or chemical anchors? In order to answer this question, lets first introduce the similarities and differences between injection-type reinforced adhesive or chemical anchors:

 

First of all, I would like to introduce you to the general understanding of injection-type reinforced adhesive and chemical anchor. The injection-type reinforced adhesive has high bond strength, like pre-buried, hardening at room temperature, small shrinkage during hardening, good temperature resistance, and after embedding the ribs, it has good durability and weather resistance, good anti-aging and medium resistance (acid, alkali and water). It has excellent toughness and impact resistance after curing. It does not contain volatile solvents and is non-toxic and environmentally friendly. It has the characteristics of wide distribution of glue groups A and B and convenient construction.

Ordinary chemical anchors are high-strength anchors made of vinyl resin as the main raw material, which was called chemical plug in the early days. The chemical anchor bolt is an anchor bolt which appears after the expansion anchor bolt, and is fixed by cement bonding to the bore of the crucible substrate through a chemical adhesive to anchor the fixing member.

 

Introduce injection-type reinforced adhesive and chemical anchors from some characterizations:

Both injection-type reinforced adhesive  and chemical anchors require drilling;

Both injection-type reinforced adhesive  and chemical anchors require the glue to be placed into the hole;

Both injection-type reinforced adhesive and chemical anchors can anchor the screw;

The operation process of injection-type reinforced adhesive and chemical anchor is similar (drilling, emptying, injection, screwing, curing and maintenance);

Both injection-type reinforced adhesive and chemical anchors are techniques for post-anchor.

 

The difference between injection-type reinforced adhesive and chemical anchors:

1. Injection-type reinforced adhesive is mainly used for anchoring concrete load-bearing structures and masonry load-bearing structural members; chemical anchors are mainly applied to the post-anchor connection of ordinary concrete load-bearing structures and non-structural members.

2, Injection-type reinforced adhesive is, more importantly, planting tendons in addition to planting into the screw; chemical anchors are mainly planted into screws. The difference in material and shape between steel bars and bolts is the difference between these two.

3. Injection-type reinforced adhesive is used for planting ribs, and ribbed steel bars are used. When ribbed steel bars are used, they can be intercepted according to design requirements. The flexible selection of anchoring depth and extension length can be connected with connecting pieces in several ways. The size of the screw plug of the chemical anchor is relatively fixed, and the top thread and the nut are bolted to the anchor plate or mechanically connected by the connecting piece.

4. The planting bar is an anchor that can be used as a new steel component. The anchor bolt is a connecting piece that is connected to the steel member.

It can be seen that both chemical anchors and injection-type planting bar adhesive have their own advantages, and they are also good anchoring materials. Now most elevator installations use injection-type planting bar adhesive with a screw or shaped chemical anchors with inverted cone screw.
