Carbon fiber cloth used in the reinforcement project is mainly divided into 300g carbon fiber cloth and 200g carbon fiber cloth according to the gram weight. 300g carbon fiber cloth is 300g per square meter, and 200g carbon fiber cloth is 200g per square meter. 300g is composed of 36 carbon filaments and 200g is composed of 25 carbon filaments. The gram weight, of course, determines the theoretical thickness. The theoretical thickness of 300 g carbon fiber cloth is a little thicker than that of 200g carbon fiber cloth. 200 g is 0.111 mm and 300 g is 0.167 mm.
The carbon fiber cloth used for carbon fiber reinforcement not only can be divided by gram weight, but also can be distinguished by strength level. Its strength grade determines the tensile strength and elastic modulus of carbon fiber cloth. Generally speaking, in the market the carbon fiber cloth is divided into high-strength first-class and high-strength second-level, and the first-class carbon fiber cloth is higher than the secondary carbon fiber cloth in tensile strength and elastic modulus. The first-level cloth is greater than 3400 MPa, and the second-level cloth is greater than 3000 MPa. The elongation value is also relatively high.
The first and second grades of carbon fiber reinforcement cloth are national standard cloths. Non-standard ones are strictly prohibited from using, but they are still available on the market. However, for the sake of projects’ quality and safety, we should choose carbon fiber cloth produced by standard manufacturers. The carbon fiber cloth produced by Nanjing Mankate is very strict in quality control. It is a manufacturer that has the same testing equipment as the testing center in the industry. All of them have test reports from inspection organizations. If you come to Mankate factory, you can feel satisfied with the inspection and then buy!
